I can’t believe I’m saying this but the two points dropped feel even worse with Spuds and Geordies dropping points as well, we’d be within touching distance of 4th place. Hopefully Leeds will do us a favour tomorrow
I agree that Lamptey tactical positioning did seem to neutralise March‘s strength from last few games. Although Lamptey is pacy and he gets forward his positional play isn’t great, which puts pressure on those around him
I bet they are all over £100k / week so not happening - better getting oxlade-Chamberlain on pay when available contract (similar to whatever we did for Welbeck)
Absolute rubbish and here is why. As a kid I cycled into a car at pace - all my fault. Second one whilst stopped at a set of traffic lights a cyclist pushed up through traffic then fell off bike (couldn’t get feet out clips I assume) smashing into our passenger door, got up and drove off...
I did the course about 10years ago, It was great and a real eye opener. I still believe it should be compulsory for everyone to do it every 10-12years. As the guy said where else do you learn a skill or trade and do no further development or training on especially when the Highway Code changes...
Unfortunately, it might not collapse but it would take serious damage.
Remember Shell and BP make most of their money from non-UK investments, so there is very little exposed to North Sea Windfall taxes But does impact FTSE based investments. What we need is their investment into British R&D...
whilst no charges have been made doesn’t mean he is innocent nor is he guilty. Having seen the video of his g/f all over Twitter I cannot see how Man Utd can have him back - the negative PR would be enormous. Whether this is fair on Greenwood or not is hard to stay - I feel he may have to go...
I can’t see how they can be sustainable - didn’t see anything wrong with current first team squad all who are on big wages, Sterling £350k, Lukaku £300+k, Havertz £250k. I imagine nearly whole first team squad is £100+k, I mean even Hudson-Odi is supposedly on £140k and he’s shifted out on loan
Tommy Smith, Graeme Souness, Steve McMahon did their fair bit of rough stuff. I have a mate whose career was ended at 17 by Tommy Smith after he nutmeged him twice, took him out next tackle ACL injury, never played football again. Souness would have made Leeds team of early 70s look like a...
I have felt for over a year he needs to move into midfield, his passing, movement and crossing is excellent. He hasnt looked great when Henderson and Van Dijk aren’t there to cover for him
It was interesting - in the first half at times it was 4-2-2-(Ferguson and Welbeck)-2 (Mitoma and March). There was a square in the middle! Maybe that was to try and drag there centre backs out of place thus giving space to Mitoma and March
