There is a saying that goes.
“ you know the cost of everything but the value of nothing”
Yes I know I am an old boy but to win the FA cup would pretty much be the icing on the cake.
Thanks for that…I have been working for a German company for 18 years and not once has anyone told me how to do that. I have been copy and pasting that all these years FFS!
Parish put out a tweet last night ( is that how you say it ?
It’s the absolute ‘certainty’ that this stuff is written with that’s kind of mind boggling - I’m sure he’s a good bloke and all that but I’ve never met him let alone about to employ him.
I do think these things need calling out every...
Don’t know about briefly threatened Palace haven’t been lower that 12th since well before Xmas and are nearly safe with 7 games to go. A bit of wishful thinking there 😁
I hope you would only hate me when our teams play each other, but after we could have a pint together.
One of the things that had a lot of fans wondering about Viera was the loss to Chelsea….they were shocking but somehow Palace were worse, we could and should be level on points with them.
Apart from 5 maybe 6 teams isn’t the goal staying in the premier league?
That 1 player hasn’t played in the last 2.5 games in which palace have won all 3 and scored all 9 goals without him. To say Brighton now have “ bigger fish to fry” after finishing above palace for what the 3rd time in 30...
Were they playing for a mid table championship side at the time ? Not really arguing but good players at 20 sometimes are not so good by 25, that’s why I said it was a punt.
Could not believe the sum we got for Bolasie, but the poor man broke his knee cap in half so just felt sorry for him.
Zaha was only a 20 year old kid so was always a bit of a punt by man united, but yes sad he went but glad he came back.
I used know that as,
Bertie me said to Bill shankly,
Have you heard of the Highbury
Shankly said I don’t Know
But I have heard of the Palace agro.
Or what ever team you supported.
Oh yes I agree, it’s impressive that Brighton pluck someone from the Peruvian second division no one has heard of and that player turns out to be a world better, they have a bloody good scouting team.
If you say so, having an 18 year old goal keeper playing in the premier league with the first team is quite notable with another 18 year old as his back up, both notable.
I am the sort of nerd that looks at attendances of all games played ( heaven knows why) so I would see the crowd at Brighton home games while eating my toast on a Sunday morning, I am sure there were quite a few sub 6K crowds, but as you say that was limited by the ground size….the same way...
Yes we have 5 or 6 playing in the big boys league most notably Rak- Sakyi playing for Charlton and Banks playing for Bradford, both who scored yesterday.
Undoubtedly this season you are by far the better team, but as you see with West Ham that can be lost quickly.
Your owner I would say is richer but both owners are fans.
I suppose your stadium is newer, but I like where I sit at Selhurst it’s more or less where I stood as a 9 year old kid...
Not getting too much into Willy waving but your point
* Players ability, squad age and pipeline. Ability maybe ? Squad age, both 26.8 according to a site I looked at. Pipeline, I don’t know Brightons to be fair but all palace youth teams are doing very well and I think the pipeline looks very...
If you have watched “one shot” or “The academy “ you will see that south London is a real hot spot for football. Now Palace don’t sweep up all those players but in the last 2 or 3 years the academy has done really well from basically a standing start and you can see it in the leagues they play...
