Yeah for sure. But, meaning no disrespect to the men and women who will go on to win gold, it's football I want us to win. I want our national team to win a tournament before my ever aging father isn't alive to see it.
Southgate to announce his resignation tomorrow I would imagine.
Honestly though I can't even fully blame him for this.
We are not a winning country. We're just not. Our football team doesn't win things
f*** it.
Hate to defend Farage here but I can see his point. A gun and a milkshake are very different but MPs here have been killed before.
He is indeed a c**t. But he's not far wrong. It was a milkshake last time - next time it could very well be something more serious.
I think you can see in the footage he appears to swat at his ear, like you would if a mozzie was buzzing around.
You can see the sequence here actually
EDIT - sorry removed, copyright image
EDIT THE SECOND - Google image search on 'doug mills nyt trump photo' will show it
Can't stand Trump but violence has no place in democracy.
All this will have achieved is a boost to his base and very likely the keys to the White House.
Has the world always been a shitshow? Thoroughly depressing time to be alive.
I've not thought about Highlights for a long time! That was our local chippy when I was a kid. They had an arcade machine in there with Sensible Soccer on it. Nice owners too.
Moved back to Worthing about four years ago as we couldn't afford a house in Brighton.
It's much nicer than it was when I was growing up. Lots of decent cafes dotted around, good pubs (I tend to avoid the town centre pubs on weekends though).
It's not Brighton but it's a good place these days
I don't particularly care for Southgate.
Over the years he's been in charge he's made some, shall we say, questionable decisions picking squads and his football is effective but not terribly exciting.
But his record is good. Whether that's because of him or in spite of him will never be...
