Work was definitely better in the 1980's - 1990's when companies still looked after their staff to some extent. With all the extra technology, how come relative pay and benefits have fallen dramatically in the last 30 years.
When I started work at a large insurer we had:
Reasonable pay
Flex time...
There were originally 3 park and rides organised by the club. One was lost and never replaced so presumably that was in the control of the club (to replace the one they lost). Indeed they sometimes do managed to replace it with the one at Pyecombe but never permanently.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before but anyway, Pep was on the touchline for the whole of the warm ups. This was from when the goalkeepers were warming up (1 hour before kick off) and before the City keepers had actually come out and included a two or three minute conversation with Jason...
Sorry I picked those two to exaggerate a point and with no evidence. However, as best as I can determine, roughly half of graduates end up in roles unrelated to their degree. Funds for education are finite. That's a fact. If the government (in other words us) is to fund free university places...
Fundamentally we need to educate the right number of people in a range of skills according to the likely future demands of society. It doesn't matter how or by which institution this is achieved. This would likely dramatically reduce the numbers going current style universities as the Media...

I don't understand the security issue argument. He has a full time security team anyway so that is not an extra cost and he is not on the terraces, he will be in expensive seats with other wealthy individuals.
The Infinite Improbability Drive was a wonderful new method of crossing interstellar distances in a mere nothingth of a second, without "tedious mucking about in hyperspace."
It was discovered by lucky chance and then developed into a governable form of propulsion by the Galactic Government's...
A shadow is two dimensional so will not demonstrate that the earth is a globe.
As stated previously, if you travel in a massive circle on a disc you will return to the same point.
Observing the sun and its movements does not in itself prove the shape of the earth. Why couldn't the sun rise and...
Turritopsis dohrnii, also known as the immortal jellyfish, is a species of small, biologically immortal jellyfish[2][3] found worldwide in temperate to tropic waters. It is one of the few known cases of animals capable of reverting completely to a sexually immature, colonial stage after having...
