[Albion] This Webster experiment ends jan 1st !!

Webster is NOT a central defender, he just can't defend. If anything, he's a midfielder in my opinion.

[Football] Admirable Football Focus Lead Feature On Problem Gambling

Gambling ads should never have been deregulated. They should be banned - Period. A lot more work needs to be done to stop social and tech giants targeting problem gamblers too.

    [Albion] Positives from Today

15 loyalty points. Alzate second half performance very good. Promise from Ali J. Nice walk to/from Woodingdean to the ground. That's about it.

    [TV] Derek Acorah RIP.

I liked it when Derek became 'possessed' on Most Haunted - it was hilarious, he made the whole show. R.I.P. Derek.

[Albion] Player Ratings - Sheffield Wednesday (H)

Button 6 - didn't do a lot and didn't do a lot wrong. One great first half save. Bong 4 - not a wing back. Set up a couple of dangerous moves first half but that was it. Duffy 6 - Solid, but not as good in the air today as he can be Webster 5 - inconsistent game, i wonder if he's more of a...

[Albion] Player Attitude - Ali J

A genuinely nice fella by all accounts (can often be found in Asda Brighton Marina) and his attitude is absolutely spot on. At last, we're seeing the real player as his confidence grows. Fantastic goal and he almost set up the winner with a superb cross to Maupay.

    [Football] Premier League Fan Experience

Seeing these pics of Wycome reminded me of a trip there 10 years ago on 28th Dec 2009 with Glenn Murray scoring 4 goals in a 5-2 win (Nicky Forster got the other). Although we were stuck for hours on the M25 getting there, it was a great day. I do miss those grounds.

[Football] Right then. After that demonstration... VAR? Yes or No?

Goal line technology yes. VAR no. Some you win, some you lose but the game stays true - and i'm happy with that. Bin it at the end of the season.

Some fantastic pin-point passing by Dunky today - he does it time and time again.

[Albion] Still keeping the faith with Potter?

I prefer Potter's style and enjoy the games much more, we'll be fine with the addition of another decent striker in Jan.

[Albion] Were we poor or did Sheffield United make us look poor?

Credit to Sheffield Utd, they defended superbly, kept their shape throughout and worked hard not to give us any time on the ball in danger areas. They got what they deserved. The table doesn't lie, they are a decent side although too many of our players had off days today.

[Politics] Next leader of the Labour party

I didn't vote for labour but i believe in a strong, effective opposition. If Emily 'rolls-eyes' Thornberry, Rebecca Long-Bailey or the awful Jess Philips end up as leader, Labour will be out of power for at least another 10 years. None of the shadow cabinet offer much confidence, Kier Starmer...
