    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

Wasn’t that a ruptured kidney or something like that? I think the challenge on McNulty was a lot more forceful. Looked like a trapped nerve/back spasm on Welbeck today.

[Albion] I think i love that from Hurzeler

Yes, I agree, but the second half of last season once we were out of Europe spoke volumes. We were in relegation form from Februray onwards.

The drinks menu looks a tad overpriced?!

    [Football] Utter thick idiots

It was Colchester away as I was in with the home fans that day as a friend from university who lives near Colchester got me a ticket. We found out when we went to a local village pub after the game and the flag on the church was at half mast. 4-1 to the “one man” team although I think Bobby Z...

Sennheiser is a good make imo. I’m sure they will have a range to suit various budgets.

[Help] Jury Summons - Jury Service

I’ve done it twice, once at Lewes and once in Brighton. Quite a lot of waiting around unfortunately and you can defer it once. Parts were interesting but parts were very boring when the same incident was questioned but from different witnesses view points. If I was you I would get it over and...

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

I now have visions of you being taunted by opposition fans at a football match with a chorus of "Who are you, who are you" and you basically not having a scooby doo!

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

The irony is that the food at the ground was supposed to be so good, but it was so poor elsewhere in the town.

    [Travel] Moselle valley in Germany

I’m hoping to do a short family road trip next May and have always wanted to visit Bernkastle in the Moselle valley for old family reasons. Just wondering if any one has been there and/or has any tips to stay in that area?

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

The irony of that burger allegedly ( but actually not ) being sold at Stoke City is that there was no where, absolutely no where, within half a mile of Stoke station after the game to buy any ready to eat food unless it came from a petrol station.

    [Politics] Dryrobe chav central...

I bet if Dry Robes teamed up with Stone Island though, they would be seen all over the Amex and at away games.

    [Drinking] Lunchtime Drinking (70s80s)

Wasn’t The Sun on Kingsway? At my first job in Tavistock Sq in 1987, we had company drinks after work in The Sun. I was introduced to the senior partner there not realising my tie had fallen into the pint of beer I was holding whilst trying to impress him as a shiny new graduate.

    [Football] Man City PL Charges

You need to see the positive side of things. If that happened and Arsenal/Liverpool won the league, you could easily wind up their fans by saying it didn't really count as Man City were "victimised" that year.

[Albion] Aaron Connolly - joining Hull permanently

I think it all started when Chris Hughton took that co starring role in Breaking Bad. It was never going to end well and I’m surprised the club allowed him to do so.

    [Politics] The Labour Government

I don’t think they have to agree to it (yet!). I think any one will have the right to ask for flexible working from Day 1, but it doesn’t have to be agreed to (yet!). Can’t wait to tell my daughter who is in week 6 of her trainee paramedic course. Her working at home will make her work so much...

    [Drinking] Lunchtime Drinking (70s80s)

To be fair, the price of pub drinks compared to pay seemed to be a lot lot cheaper then compared to now.

    [Drinking] Lunchtime Drinking (70s80s)

1994, I worked on a construction project when Van den Bergh foods merged with Brooke Bond and had a new headquarters in Manor Royal in Crawley. As a Dutch company, they had their own full on bar on the ground floor included as part of the development.
