    [Albion] Man City away tickets

Thanks for the tip off guys. Managed to get one of the two remaining tickets. Really happy to go there again for another away match at Etihad. Just have to hope can get out and on the road quickly to make it back to Nottingham for the rugby. England v SA at 8pm. Gonna be tight….

    [Albion] Forest Away

Excellent news that more becoming available. Thanks for the update. I’m having to wait until Tuesday next week as MA+ member so need requests to go down or extra seats released. Otherwise a train strike would help but needs announcing very soon. Wouldn’t wish that on the rest of you 😇

[Albion] Dehumidifier for living room ?

I don’t use it for heating but do use one periodically to remove moisture from the air. Does a great job. Especially after having a few guests, lots of baths / showers, drying washing indoors. Longer term benefit to stop condensing on windows and walls with potential mould. Amazing how much...

    [Albion] Forest Away

Hope all you STHs leave some tickets for us lowly MyA+ members. My local game and would love to go again this year. Great atmosphere last season, even if not the right result. I guess they needed the points more than us. With us making Europe and Forest staying in PL is best outcome for me.

    [Albion] Alexis Mac Allister returns!

Class. Great to see a player understand what being a “professional” means. Nice reception from our fans after the match

    [Albion] Good deeds in Marseille

Great to see such positive reactions to the “Assault in away end” post. That such a thing can happen to one of our own by one of our own is disgusting. Thought I’d start one for all the positives that happened in Marseille. There must be many uplifting stories we can share to help us see what a...

[Albion] Zero chance of booze in the stands at Europe away games ?

People generally very good at staying seated in AA like they were supposed to. Except when it got a bit exciting and our two goals went in. But sat down again afterwards. I thought quite respectful of those who chose to sit in this area because it was seated only. Also for those in the...

[Albion] Zero chance of booze in the stands at Europe away games ?

Very weird setup. During the rugby the shutters were up and it was fully open as you’d usually expect

[Football] So, knowing what you know now…

Absolutely would do it again. As an A+ member I reckon there will be very limited chances for me to get to an away match in Europe. It needs to be to a big stadium so 5% of capacity as our share of the tickets gives me a chance. 3,500 and not all sold even to those who did not pre register was...

Back to the lovely Calanque de Port Miou next to Cassis. One hour hike each way with a bit of sun and swim in between. Then home to the Airbnb for a spot of chilled rosé before short walk to the restaurant for a bite to eat. Pacing ourselves so ready for tomorrow….

    [Football] TV Fixtures Mid-November onwards

Great atmosphere at the Forest game last season. Home fans made more noise than at Newcastle. Lots of love for Solly from our boys as it was a few days after the Man U semi final. I hope to go again this year. It’s one of my “bankers” as a remote Seagull

Not that I could see. The machine at the stop gave a paper card ticket the size of a credit card. You can get other options a bit like old Oyster card if you live here and have a photo. But no credit or debit card tapping from what I saw. Try google and see

Some people we spoke to got a shuttle bus to the Aix TGV train station and then train to the centre. Sub €10 each I think. If there’s a group of you then Uber should be €40-50. Would recommend you download Citymapper and Rome2Rio apps

The stadium is fantastic - one from the rugby but this is B block so typical of where we will all be And the club towel made an appearance on a yacht off the coast of Marseille with the stadium in the background

My son is finishing up work in London over the next few hours and the getting to Gatwick for the EasyJet 18:10 direct to Marseille. I’ll pick him up just after 9pm. Rosé already chilling. Although he’s late 20s, he’s not quite been on the same journey as some of us oldies. But he has...

Difficult to know and you may get better advice from those who have been to Europe watching other teams or England. My observations on Marseille transport * Be careful of regular taxis. I’ve heard a few comments about them taking the scenic route and running up the meter. If you must use...

As @Bozza said, I’ve been out here for two weeks watching the rugby and having a holiday with the missus. I can honestly say it’s a fantastic place to come. Lots of great restaurants and things to do. We have our UK car with us so been able to explore other parts of Provence. Would recommend...
