Very true, but I’ve played in goal enough times to know when I’m beaten, at which point you’d don’t even bother. You know your corners.
Also, if he’d gone for the dive and hit the player then it would have made the offside call much easier to make, of course the keeper wouldn’t have known that.
Interfering only applies if the impeded player is restricted from taking their desired movement or their view was obstructed to the point it effects their movement, which it didn’t.
As you’ve said, keeper didn’t even go for it and wouldn’t have with our without the player that was (unarguably)...
It’s pretty poor right now, but that’s probably only because of how high it was at the end of last season. I’m getting better at accepting this in life in general though - the peaks and troughs.
