[Football] Chants and songs sung at other clubs that you quite like

I'm always a little bit saddened to hear a tune that I think might be original to us being sung somewhere else. Happened yesterday with one of the telly matches having a "She's Electric" tune chant.... Noting that claims of originality are usually mistaken, either willfully or just down to...

    [Albion] That second Solly goal

Good to see none of the supposedly prevalent Liverpool or half-hearted Albion fans in that picture. Edit: Just spotted bottom left... :D

    [Football] Potter [NOT] at Chelsea

Obviously. The whole point is that Tony Bloom has spent 30 years creating something unique and I'm sure the likes of ex-P.E. teacher Danny Ashworth don't have a clue about what that is.

[Albion] Predict the XI v Middlesbrough

Presumably Middlesbrough will be using their squad rather than 1st XI...?

[Albion] Everton vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Thanks for posting. Love these video reports by a South American on our brilliant players and club. Reminds of the bloke from Fletching who used to run a vlog following Grant Horscroft and Richard Tiltman...

    [Albion] Our Roberto.........

Agree about McCullum and think he is exceptionally good. Simpson also was probably exceptionally good. How many other cricket coaches/managers have been over past 40 years? The key indication is when much better results are achieved than expected, given quality of players, and the effect is...

    [Albion] Our Roberto.........

Am I correct in thinking that Potter was well supported in Sweden by his Chairman in terms of player recruitment relative to the level of football?

    [Albion] Our Roberto.........

Very interesting and complex question to debate. As usual it isn't decided one way or the other absolutely. In cricket, the rise of the "Head Coach" as an influencer of team performance outcomes was resisted for longer than in football (notably by successful hierarchy-frowning Australian teams...

[Albion] Arsenal fans in home stands

Indeed. With no impact on the bottom line - and no positive PR potential - this matter will be far down the list of priorities for Paul Barber OBE...

[Albion] We really need a song for Mac Allister

Has to be "Who's that man from Argentina?".... First time round loud, second time ramped up even louder. Great song. Will take a while for the agreed lines 3-5 to emerge. I like: Who's that man from Argentina? Who's that man we all adore? His name is Ali Mac He brought the World Cup back...

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

They will have established state of the art drainage during Premier League days. No problem.

We all agree, Mac Allister's better than Messi

    [Help] Gambling: The Unique Addiction?

Good advice. Also about the lunacy of "have to put my family first" as a carte blanche justification for doing anything selfish.

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

Rare bit of commonsense from the club opening up the last Block K of the current allocation while a few at the back of Block L are still unsold... At some point today we'll go over 6K sold. With two weeks to go we can see how far we get towards selling out the away end + the whole of Upper...

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

BBC have that down as "more than 4,000 Brighton fans"... very much doubt it was 6K+ 4K and 5K Albion followings away to smallish places are much more common in our history than 6K ones.

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

Yes, I was there. That was a great invasion and right up there in the best ever Albion awaydays. Definitely sub-20K total crowd and at least around 6K Albion - so best bet yet. Anyone know? I thought it might have been all ticket - if so they sold more than they should have done - and only...

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

Watford in 1984 FA Cup must be one of the closest to fitting both criteria. Peterborough in 1986 too. MK Dons was in total crowd of 21K+.
