They're filming a Wrexham sequel doc about Lewes Women as well at the moment. Massive PR blitz to support the split I reckon. Agree with other above, the existing setup is kind of unsustainable.
If the Men's team continues current form, then they'll be League 2 before you can say "Ollie Tanner"
One day I'll get round to compiling all the times you've announced that you're MINCING somewhere, but until that day just let it be said that it brings me real pleasure. Grazie mille x
Decent away win for Lewes at Kingstonian last night. T&M stadium is a dream to get to and back from; the tram is just fantastic. Raised stands on all sides makes for brilliant views. Excellent atmosphere from a decent travelling crowd. The Jerk Shak didn't disappoint; absolutely superb chicken...
I've been a few times - middle of W2. Cracking view; genuinely not a huge amount of differeence from W3 or W1 concourses apart from that. Queues are smaller, I guess.
Yep Marseilles is an utterly brilliant city.
Also where my great-grandfather was stationed as a stevedore during the winter of 1916/17 in between delightful summers at The Somme and then Vimy Ridge.
I'll be schlepping up north tomorrow FOR MY SINS to watch the Rooks at Kingstonian (at Tooting & Mitcham). Very much looking forward to the promise of the Jerk Shak. Any decent drinking establishments round there? Or, dare I say it, around East Croydon?
