Agree with all the positive comments about WA on here.
However I was shocked to hear him on radio 5 the other week making very derogatory comments about Ali J, Locadia and Izzy.
Hopefully Alireza at least will have started to convince him after his last couple of performances.
It amuses me that he is always introduced by JC as "former Albion striker". To the best of my knowledge, and certainly whenever I saw him, he played in midfield for us. (I think he was a striker with his earlier clubs, but by the time he came to us he was a bit portly.)
I thought he reffed well apart from the two penalties not given (admittedly quite a big "apart from"). Most decisions seemed correct, including the bookings, and he didn't fall for their rolling about antics. Would have liked to see him be firmer about their goalie timewasting, but then Maty...
