[Albion] Whats the game you was shit scared the most?

Most of the above plus Shrewsbury away in the 70s - yes, embarrassing I know, Shrewsbury. But we were young and outnumbered…and very drunk

    [Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

Haha - favourite with who? Mrs Parker?

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Not at all - I think most of them have less than half a brain

    [Albion] Does it pay

Absolutely- if you compared the value of respective assets ( stadium, training ground, team) we’re miles ahead.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

I can’t really be bothered to look at this complete and utter bull of an interview . Not sure why Putin bothered to give the interview as anyone with half a brain won’t believe him. In my view it simply undermines any credibility that he had left. Apparently there would have been a peaceful...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

I know it sounds very John Le Carre, but It wouldn’t surprise me if some of them had moved to Russia several years ago to wait and prepare for days like these - ‘sleepers’.

    [Albion] What's your Palace record?

My favourite Palace record is Attilla’s Donkey Derby

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

I’d like to join in too - I never met him but he used to stop off at our local Chinese ( Happy Valley in Hollingbury) on the way back home from the Commons. notwithstanding that he lived for 98 years.

[Albion] Do you buy a match day programme ?

Yes for important fixtures and only if I think I can get away with slipping it into my huge collection without my wife noticing.

[Albion] If you could go back in time and attend ANY BHAFC fixture, which one would you choose?

Finding it difficult to choose a single match. Spoilt for choice in the years 76-79 ( Walsall 7-0, York 7-2, cup wins against Div 1 teams, promotion to the top division for the first time….). 1983 cup run and final of course. Then fast forward 20+ years and the last decade to where we are now...

[Football] Le Petite S*****house, - again

As a Brentford supporting friend of mine says, Neil is a little sh1t but it’s great when he’s your little sh1t. That said, I think he’d struggle to fit in our squad currently so he wouldn’t be much use being a little sh1t on the bench. As for Walker, I suppose you reap what you sow.

[News] Argy bargy with Palace fans yesterday commented on

Yes, they’d have messed their pants and squelched off in opposite directions

    [Palace] #cpfc

And just think, if they’d brought on James Tomkins our afternoon could have even been better.

    [Albion] Get The f*** In!

Yes, but many of us had a hand over our mouth as we were doing so

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Yes, I think they should say whether the dead people died before or after they were added to the list.

[Albion] Your memories of Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace.

That’s a very good description of what happened that day. I witnessed it from the opposite end. It looked like quite a battle. It was typical of what happened on a routine basis at matches in the 70s and 80s. I could probably write a book about all the stupid things that happened at that time...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Of all those options I think it’s most likely a sham to give some sort of credibility to the election. Any serious opposition candidates are already dead or in jail…..or soon will be

[Albion] Chris Wilder on the problem of playing Brighton

I agree. Save for the last 10 mins of the first half we were very good. There was a passage of play in the 2nd half where I think we put together around 8 consecutive 1 touch passes. Our play can be jaw dropping at times.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Incredible attendance at this level (and some envious clubs at higher levels). Well done Hastings.

[Football] Chrystal Palace for sale. £750 million valuation apparently:

They’ve engaged the advisers that worked on the Chelsea and Man U acquisitions- sounds perfect to me.
