That’s a very good description of what happened that day. I witnessed it from the opposite end. It looked like quite a battle. It was typical of what happened on a routine basis at matches in the 70s and 80s. I could probably write a book about all the stupid things that happened at that time...

I agree. Save for the last 10 mins of the first half we were very good. There was a passage of play in the 2nd half where I think we put together around 8 consecutive 1 touch passes. Our play can be jaw dropping at times.
