I was at Lords yesterday and overheard a conversation between a Wolves and Man U fan, neither particularly impressed with their current teams.
They then went on to say Man City played some good football, but the team they loved to watch was Brighton, to quote, "the way they move the ball, the...
Thought Gross was excellent, what else do you expect from a German International. Lamptey great in a different position.
But, boring as I am, Veltman was my MOM, smiling assasin, really enjoyed his performance, every aspect!
Not quite sure I agree with Gross, Milner wasn't great, but Webster was a whole new level of poor.

Webster was the difference today, not in a good way, would like to JPVH get a run of games.
Also like to see Veltman RB.
If Milner has to start could he not play at base of midfield?
Thought Gilmour played well, will get better with a run in the team.
We created enough to win but looked toothless frankly, would have liked to see Pedro instead of Welbeck at the start.
Webster was appalling, looked like he'd won a bet, never in the same post code as a West Ham player...
One of my favourites great pro.
Well remember hearing opposition players shouting "keep it away from the headband" as they hoofed it upfield, invariably he won it.
Also recall hm against Kevin Francis (I think) 6'6" centre forward, Fozzie won every duel!
Kind of agree with this now, had expensive cars and worried whenever I returned to it, changed job and needed a workhorse, E Class estate, abuse it really and now worry far less about odd chips and dinks, still like to keep it clean though!
Only saw a few minutes, but Van Hecke will be getting more game time this season, Adingra will too.
That old guy Milner looks good too, how does he maintain that level of fitness?
Igor been here ten minutes, looks as though coached by RDZ forever.
I too was at that game.
To be fair we were never further than 4 foot from the ball, though equally we were never nearer than three foot from the ball.
A great player, who will be sadly missed.
At face value a god deal, though I have heard, the grant may be difficult to claim, in which case, maybe not as good,.
I've not gone down that road mind.
