I’m all for giving the new guy time, although I’m not convinced yet, but it baffles me that we offered RDZ no support in January yet spent £200m on players for the new guy who don’t seem intended to improve our first 11.
Just to reiterate my point around this, the wife and I are on holiday currently and my ticket for Spurs has been up for sale for over 3 weeks. It hasn’t sold. No one is using the seat. I get no refund and the club get no addition income. It’s a total waste. And this is against Spurs, in the West...
I’d be starting Facu and Pedro if we’re going to play the system our new manager seems desperate to play with two really high 8s/10s. Not that I particularly like this system, based on what I’ve seen so far. Even if we moved back to a system with two sitters, there would be minutes for him as...
Don’t be a patronising t**t.
Most development paths happen before a player reaches the first team, not after. You understand that, right?
Which begs the question of where they really are in their careers? One has played most of his in the Championship where he’s consistently failed to score...
Most of our players had games last season when they were ineffective, particularly in the second half of the season, and especially those who played most of their games out of position. And is he more experienced in the Premier League? Let alone being more experienced in this league, alongside...
I still find it strange that we loaned him out and spent £40m on Ruttner, a player with a seemingly lower ceiling, when we’ve ended up playing the two 8s effectively as 10s, in a role that would’ve suited Buonanotte down to the ground. But hey ho, there must be logic somewhere.
And I appreciate your right to that opinion (we’re both ST holders after all), but I disagree with it for the reasons mentioned and you’ve said nothing at this juncture to change my mind.
So we’ll amicably agree to disagree.
I agree, there are simply solutions that would make this work. But it isn’t fit for purpose in its current state either for fans or from a business perspective.
Also, I’ve never actually had my ticket be resold on the ticket exchange from the west upper, in the middle. So work that one out…...
You’re right, I am one of those and I don’t see it as the insult that you do.
But there’s business logic to it too. They miss out on match day revenue because they put so many barriers in front of those tickets being easily passed to people who will come and spend money in the shop, at the...
He’s had so many opportunities to speak. And look where it’s left us. My one hope, outside of the Tories being ousted at the last general election, was that he wouldn’t get a seat. But alas… there’s still a % of our society that can’t see the damage he’s done and continues to do.
I’d imagine one. The need for a friend or family member to become a MyAlbion+ member for £38, and then for the ticket seller to have to pay £20 a year to release the ticket to the appropriate person, make the whole thing awkward and costly.
And just putting it on the ticket exchange is no...
There’s a reason we always have so many empty seats at home games. The club have put profit above putting bums on seats, which ironically is going to mean lower take home on match day revenues.
Our ticketing system is a joke, quite frankly.
