That is the biggest irony, that had dumfries made no effort to block the shot which ballooned over the bar there would have been no contact!
As another point if you look at the replay his foot is parallel with the pitch so not actually studs raised unless you mean that every time someone lifts...
I do not agree, the defender was tying to block the shot and kane kicked him on the follow through and then theatrically rolled around like a baby holding his shattered ankle which miraculously healed in time to take the pen!
But i realise you will not see it that way so best we agree to differ eh!
Agreed and surely if anyone wanted a prime example of injuries having an impact they would have to look no further than our very own( borrowed!) Ansu Fati.
In some of his earlier highlight reels i watched when he arrived i thought he was incredible, unfortunately the post knee operation version...
Agree re Cucurella last night but he has been better in earlier matches with one-twos and forward passing. I cannot help but wonder if it was more to do with the constant booing every time he had the ball. It surely must affect anyone who gets such treatment and possibly make them want to get...
I thought they would start with the lower west and the north at the outset. So was surprised that apart from one block on each side closest to the south the whole of the lower west, north(including shelf) and lower east are on sale. I think that's about 14,000 seats, a tad optimistic maybe?
I do not think you will have a problem at all. Last year about 300 were left unsold and even though that was partly due to the fixture being in between some of our Euro adventures that is mitigated by some who only went last time because they had not been to Goodison and thought it was the last...
In the clip that has been posted on this thread i thought how much like Lamptey he looked. So yes wishing he can break through like him so long as he can stand the roughing up and physicality of the PL that he will undoubtedly face.
You have struck a chord with me. I suppose the stands were labelled as such as a way of harking back to the Goldstone. They should really be the WNW, NNE, ESE and SSW or if you want to use just the main compass points then the current North stand should be the West, the East should be the North...
Totally agree re opening the lower sooner as it was pretty obvious from the get go that the upper was going to sell out.
Regarding Z1 and Z6 they were opened with the rest of the lower tier and indeed a few did sell in each but sometime today the club closed them to any more sales presumably...
Sorry badly phrased, what i meant was that after the purchase history release day (today) as that was indeed the last section then it would become clearer as to what was left and therefore how many more were likely to sell.
Edit, just had a look on the club site and not only have they now made...
Getting to the end of Albion+ members day and there are 840 left, so sales today of about 300. Next up is purchase history and after that we should have a fair idea of how many more are likely to be sold.
The club obviously were not sure how well this would sell so yesterday started with the upper tier which is about 1650 seats. Less than half an hour of sales resulted in about 500 left with the centre blocks being virtually sold out. It was not until 9.30 this morning when the upper tier had...
