You have to do what is right for you when faced with a tricky decision. This is exactly why i was hoping the club would make the decision to open AL6 before the next window opens, even if only a part of it, if possible.
Good luck HG and no regrets!
Yes, although in this instance i would think the vast majority of the highest points holders will have made the sensible decision to buy already in block AL7.
There will of course be some who want to sit with another season ticket holder with not enough points to buy already and thus wont have...
Funnily enough in this instance it is season ticket holders who are getting caught with a tricky decision.
Do they buy in the corner block to guarantee themselves a ticket or wait in the hope that AL6 will open with its better views?
The block that is yet to open is somewhere in the region of 950 tickets. To me the question would be, can that block be part released or if we open it is it "all or nothing". I have no doubt we could sell a lot more than is currently available with the all season tickets and members windows...
As soon as the draw was made i quickly scrolled to the top to see how many people had gone for Liverpool/West Ham and saw it was only one. After reading a few responses to the actual draw i thought i would see who the one person was........ only to find it was now 8!!!!!!! I mean, seriously.....
I only read through this thread today and i assume you are referring to people singing "good old" twice instead of "oh sussex" for the first line and then "good old" for the second line. In which case the answer is no, you are not the only one.
Funny thing is the wording on the screen has always...
Mine arrived today having been posted on monday.
Strange thing though was i bought 2 tickets in the same transaction and they arrived in separate envelopes !
It is a good idea but i feel very difficult to enact in practice especially as our system seems quite rigid in fixing a ticket to a name as soon as it is bought. It cannot even let someone return a ticket for resale when they discover they cannot go to a game due to a change in circumstances...
Quite likely as we must instruct/request other clubs to start their sales in that corner. The more they can sell the closer to the goal they get.
I was mildly amused when i looked on a wolves fan site to see how their sales were going before our recent match and found a post complaining that the...
Early on the club only released AL9 and AL8 but they then pretty quickly also opened AL7.
Block totals are as follows:-
AL9 434(includes a section of 60 seats which have not yet been available, poss club comps)
AL8 757
AL7 844
so just over 2000 released so far. Currently still available 342...
Yes, as it happens there is.
Away fan sections in most grounds tend to start in a corner or end of a stand and spread across towards the centre where there will be a segregation area before the home fans carry on. To maximise sales clubs will want to sell any spare tickets that the away club do...
I try my hardest to be equitable when considering decisions such as this. I find usually the best way is to imagine the given scenario with the team shirts reversed. If an Albion player had made a tackle like that i would be wincing and fearing the worst, fully expecting at very least a yellow...
Still cannot get over the last game when i predicted 3-1 and after Ferdi's goal to finish the game and with the final whistle fast approaching i foolishly allowed myself to believe i had my first point of the season....................well you know the rest!!
So, perhaps idiotically, i have...
Well done Albion + members, about 400 sold since yesterday pm. Now just over 250 left of the 2242 released.
Unlikely i would have thought to be more blocks open as they seem to have set up for a segregation area at the left hand side of our last block released
Of the just over 1000 left only 36 in the west and 363 in the east with the remainder 624 in the north (448 of those in N1A/N1H).
That is still from the original release of about 13,600. Will probably sell a few more this evening before the prices go up at midnight.
