Just imagine being given a chance to go down in history as the first England manager since Sir Alf to win a trophy, who the heck would turn that down?
Edit: thinking about it, that is probably why GS stayed longer that he should have.
Wow, some of the polarisation of views on here is incredible.
I never hated GS, in fact i hate very few people. However my view is that whilst his achievements with PR, player relations and setting England on a good path were indeed fantastic the performances on the pitch were less so. Is it...
Two reasons, firstly those at the back are restricted by the overhang of the tier above meaning as soon as the ball goes much over head height you cannot see it and secondly the pillars that hold that tier up can be blocking your view of one of the goalmouths.
In fairness it is an old school...
I am absolutely sure he is a nice fellow but in all honesty he should have gone after the last tournament.
@FIVESTEPS gave him 2 out of ten for tactics but i disagree.......... that was way too generous!
Restricted view seats now opened in lower tier, another couple of hundred.
Seems the club has learned from last year when these were released and sold before the upper tier even opened. Well done them.
I had not noticed this myself but do agree it is different. Also when there are two adjacent blocks like UV1 and UV2 the seat numbers normally span the blocks so that for example seat 42 at the end of one block will be next to seat 43 in the adjacent block. Again this is not the case here as UV1...
Whoever does come in............
My biggest fear from last night is that the FA will think we cannot be seen to get rid of "England's most successful manager" and will carry on regardless.
To which my thought would be that it is surely the height of folly to keep doing the same thing every...
Hope this helps, the individual blocks are as follows
In the upper 5 blocks Y2 404 Y3 306 Y4 312 Y5 312 Y6 314 total 1648
In the lower 6 blocks Z1 106 Z2 253 Z3 293 Z4 192 Z5 293 Z6 196 total 1313
grand total 2961
The only thing i am not sure about is whether the club released all the seats...
Sorry but that is not switching it round. The opposite scenario is the defender clears the ball and then kicks kane on his follow through, are you suggesting that should be a free kick to the defender?
Sorry if being a bit thick here but do you mean that as soon as you were able to enter on your phone you were also able to on your laptop OR do you mean that you held the tickets you had selected on your phone until the laptop was able to enter?
These 2 posts taken together would suggest that it is indeed random so thank you both for posting.
Leading on from that and taking gazwag's post as an example if anyone logs on with 2 devices and gets given 2 places in the queue eg 150 and 500 they will obviously use the 150 place to enter the...
Yes i think the queue has always been at the entry to the ticketing site. Definitely something at odds though as i do not remember a case where the queue was increasing after an hour or so of sales.
I must have missed something, why the long queue now i.e. after 10 o'clock when luke has posted that there was a short wait just after nine. Unless he was lucky of course!!
All apart from the seriously restricted view seats which amount to about 300 in the lower and just under 100 in the upper. There is a roof support pole at the front of the UV1 section which blocks the goal to those directly behind it and on a diagonal up through the section. In the lower the...
Au contraire mon ami, i would say there is very little chance of this selling out.
My reasoning as follows
1 Some 300 seats were unsold last year despite it being an obvious target for loyalty points
2 People who went last year because they thought last chance for Goodison will probably not go...
