wise words indeed.
The thread title says "if dunk is fit" to which my answer would be yes he starts. I trust the correct decision will be made and based on training/medical reports.
To be fair to seagullwedgee he is probably basing his post on my earlier one about the closing of P9.
The fact that he has not been contacted by the club is a good sign that it is not yet an entirely done deal. They have prepared the ground by closing P9 to further sales and holding an amount of...
Many thanks for your replies and suggestion, i have used coach travel to an Albion match before (Forest Green in the cup) but personally found it an uncomfortable experience so resolved that it would be, for me, a choice that i would only use if it was the only option for a game i was desperate...
I was just looking at it logically because late last night we had sold about 250 seats in P9 and there were about 350 left in P10. I did not look first thing but when i looked just now P9 is blacked out and P10 has less than 100 left so that seemed a reasonable conclusion. I may be incorrect of...
I would think the timing both date wise and evening kick off are playing a large part. Personally i have driven before but did not fancy that this time as i now hate driving in the dark. So i looked at the trains on a couple of sites and found i could not get back to worthing until about 5.30...
So much so that it would appear that the club have shut the largest of the upper blocks and judging by the amount left in the other are transferring the tickets so as to presumably release the biggest block and let Villa sell it to their fans.
To be honest i am not sure why they released so many...
I still am not sure why the seat rows at the back of the upper tiers have not been released. Maybe the member of staff who normally does that sort of thing had the day off today? Or perhaps maybe they will release them tomorrow morning for all season ticket holders window.
Seriously if anyone...
Certainly compared to last year, day one then about 1400 now 1700 and day two then 450 now 800 (not including the 100 or so held for club comps). Also after the first day last year there were about 300 left in the lower tier, this time just a handful.
As has already been stated the sat 3 pm...
So as we approach the end of day one we have sold just over 1700 tickets (1200+lower tier) with a further 100 or so held for club comps etc.
About 1550 left but 1200 or so of those (all upper tier) not released yet. Hopefully someone will be on the ball early doors in ticketing otherwise we...
OK badly phrased by me but when the club start saying don't go to this part of town or that area or attempt to travel on your own to the ground in any way shape or form people will inevitably build up a picture which in some cases will put them off going. As it was i went to the old town...
No to the first, yes to the second. Also most of those left are ambulant disabled seats right along the back meaning there is a likelihood that no others apart from these will be available to buy in the morning.
I suppose there may be a possibility of those being made available to all at a...
If it is being released block by block across the allocation i would 100% agree but in this instance all blocks are open and they are releasing from the front backwards which i have not noticed being done here before.
P.S. glad you are sorted and are going.
Good point, well made.
It was mainly it being the first ever that surprised me, after all there is only one "first". Suppose there is a benefit to being an old git with time to spare and a pension after all. ;)
Please don't give up hope as i think there is a good chance that some will be available to all season ticket holders. The caveat being that if there are you will probably have to treat your boys to some binoculars as an early present!
Not only that but the Marseille game was NOT a sellout! Something that i still find incredible, our FIRST competitive game in europe and anyone who wanted to go could have obtained a ticket. I know the club did not help with their dire warnings, but still........
Absolutely it is, as to why? Well who can fathom the vagaries of our ticketing section. Normally they open the upper one whole block at a time but you can at least give them some credit for making all the front rows available to higher tier buyers. It also means that for an absolute certainty...
