I have a Network Card so can get a one day travel card off peak for a 18.30 if I am going to London but if you planned enough in advance you could get bargains if you were going north of there. They seemed to stop last season although that might have improved since.
One thing putting me off away trips - other than some kick off times - is there doesn't seem to be cheap advanced rail tickets anymore.
At some point people cancelling Sky Sports subscriptions will have an impact.
My suspicion is there won't be any further Covid restrictions put in place but if you do have to wear a mask on public transport come Winter then stop moaning and wear one.
The left of the Labour Party have returned to their normal position, briefly interrupted when some MPs neglected their role as gatekeepers and decided the 2015 leadership contest needed to be broadened out and nominated Corbyn, of criticising the leader and plotting without the numbers to...
If you have a passing interest in popular music then there is more than enough to keep you entertained but that is only half the Glastonbury experience. Wandering round with a pint is one of life's truly great journeys.

We also still have a highly infectious disease that is more than capable of keeping healthy and vaccinated people off work for a few days and can easily work through an office or other workplace in no time. The fact a lot of places are still at least partially WFH is keeping a lid on it at the...
I don't think he should have said but I don't think he should have got on stage in front of the viewing world and punched him over it.
At least Chris Roll didn't press charges.
