To be expected when they had a full strength team, we were injury hit and the officials were on their side. We battled well though and it would have been a great effort to nick a point.
Looks like Igor is injured as well. I can’t believe the clubs alleged reasoning for not signing anyone in January was because we had some injured players returning.

That’s a big blow as Pedro has been excellent recently and hamstring injuries are never quick to heal. I know we’ve had some seasons like this before but I think this is the worst I remember for injuries.
His absence from the photos might just be that he’s been given a lighter training regime this week following his recent knock. We probably won’t know until Saturday at 2pm though as the club understandably don’t disclose training injuries at the pre match press conference.
Even if the club are relying on the injured players to come back (which is foolish as there is a good chance we’ll pick up more injuries based on the number of matches we have left) we are desperately short in several positions (right back, centre midfield, wings). I would have thought our poor...
They’ve shown a a lot of ambition in the last year or so. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish above us although they do have a much bigger playing budget than us.
