Yep, I think that was at least the 5th time Dyche has done it at the Amex. We need to stop losing the toss against Dyche teams!
Edit: apparently it’s a thing he does every time his team win the toss in an away match.
How does Caicedo keep not getting sent off? He should have gone against us and last week against city. He was also arguably lucky to stay on the field yesterday.
Not only is he dirty, he’s an absolutely terrible footballer. The only time he tried to make a moderately difficult pass today, he shanked it out of play. His ability is almost as cringeworthy as the clip of him chatting up his own wife.
If I was Everton, I’d be thoroughly disgruntled with the horrible anti football they play. They’ve spent way beyond their means (hence why they’ve correctly been punished) yet still play that way. I would hate to see my team park the bus, hoof the ball forward, constantly foul and rely on set...
Judging by his interviews since he took over, Wilder has completely lost the plot recently. This will be the last managerial role of his career I think.
Need to keep our heads here. Sheffield United are angry. I’m not sure why unless their fans don’t know the rules of football. I’d take Lamptey off as Attwell will be desperate to even up the numbers.
I’ve just seen Palhinha - who should have got sent off then scored at the Amex this season - is banned for the match against us after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season.
Unless there’s been any new injuries in training this week, we should be able to pick a fairly strong side for this one. I’d go;
Verbruggen
Veltman
Van Hecke
Dunk
Estupinan
Gross
Gilmour
Adingra
Fat
Mitoma
Welbeck
Is Todd Boehly the stupidest chairman the Premier League has ever had. His weird obsession with trying to be us has resulted in one of the most expensively assembled squad being an average mid table side and he still hasn’t learned his lesson.
Mr Lion clearly has a source within the club as he leaked a lot of team selections earlier in the season. He was also the first to break the Hinshelwood injury news.
