    Weekend in Paris

This may not be relevant, but it surprised me. You can't fly to Paris from Gatwick! So either Heathrow or Eurostar (via St Pancras or Ashford)

    Dacia - Anyone got one

Dacia (or "Dat-chi-a") were originally Romanian but since 1999 Renault have been involved. Basically before 1989, the communist regime "borrowed" Renault designs and made their own cars. Remember these?

£192 for someone to move in!

£192 for someone to move in!

Hello, I don't usually post or rant on here, but my housemate is moving out and we have found a replacement. Our current agency has outsourced their referencing to another agency. Normally new people pay about £45 for a credit check and £45 between us for a new tenancy agreement. However the...

I've had my Lorus watch, since 1998. £25 in Argos. Still works fine, albeit a few straps later. Almost like when Trigger says in OFAH that his broom is 25 years old, but has had 7 poles and 6 brushes! :)

Laptop help - blue screen of death

Before it went wrong, had anything been updated via Windows Update (or manually), if so a software update or driver update could be doing it. When booting up and pressing F5 or F8 , choose "Last known good configuration", does that work? If yes, do a System Restore to say a few days ago and see...
