That’s just insane. People genuinely think that the competitors at the Olympics have just practised really hard for the last 3-4 years. Obviously they have, but they’ve mostly practised really hard at their sport since they were kids and also happen to have an incredible amount of natural talent.

More or less done now. It’s been a fantastic 2 weeks of sport, and the French have put on a great show. The Rio games had nothing like this atmosphere and buy in from the Brazilian public, and the Tokyo games were just ar an unfortunate time. I’m really going to miss it all on Monday 😔
