I have seen maybe one poster calling for the manager to go. What the rest of us are saying is we look so poorly coached, the player literally don’t look like they know what they are doing.
Sorry to say but it’s alarming how poorly coached we look:
Defensively we are all over the place. Runners in behind over and over again.
The press is muddled and ineffective
Players don’t seem to know what they are doing when they get the ball, too many touches too few options.
The new...
It’s hard not to get so frustrated with the injury situation. Pedro was on fire and out for weeks at least, JPVH best form for the club and out and Adingra out most productive forward player this season and also out. When will we get a run of good fortune.
My favourite author is Thomas Hardy, my favourite novel of his is Return of the Native. My favourite character in the book is the Reddleman, whenever he appears everything turns out alright. Not very exciting but that’s why!
Our two goals against Chelsea game directly from a high press. If you don’t have a high line you can’t do that. So we may tighten up at the back but will lose goal scoring opportunities.
The issue I have is he hasn’t achieved anything of note to start even thinking about moves to other clubs. Two good goals two seasons ago and absolute nothing since. When everyone’s fit he will be lucky to make the match day squad.
A year ago this weekend we lost 6-1 to Villa. In the previous 5 league matches under FH we kept two clean sheets. It’s not much worse, not by any subjective or objective measurement.
No he wasn’t. He was stubborn and wouldn’t change and under him we had some of the worst results of our PL era . The 6-1 Villa defeat and 5-1 Everton were shambolic embarrassments, way worse than today. Let’s not reinvent the past, RDZ had no plan B, couldn’t or wouldn’t change and that’s why...
Hard to judge when today we were missing Veltman, JPVH, Pedro and Adingra. Yes the defensive line needs sorted but today was highly impacted by missing four certain starters.
I know it’s not the majority opinion on here but I feel sorry for him the way the Chelsea situation turned out. The way he built his career has been methodical and deliberate. I think Boehly fed him a load of crap about long term strategy and planning and he believed it. All that hard work to...
A quick peak at their fixtures, they have an away champions league game in Germany the Wednesday before and then Arsenal away late Sunday afternoon. Then us midweek, us again at Weekend then a tough champions league game the next Tuesday v Leverkusen. He will have no choice but to play a B...
Which is why I specifically said not this injury (you can read right?) But for what was our record signing at the time his injury record last season wasn’t great and he’s already missed a couple of games this season.
Such a shame about Pedro but emphasises the benefit of our new squad depth. This particularly injury clearly isn’t his fault but he has been missing a lot of games since he signed. Hope it’s something he can stop longer term.
