[Travel] Park and Ride - Roma

Actually I asked them on Sunday as I walked past them and they said just show the booking to them and it should be fine!

    [Travel] M25 J10-11 closures

I’m heading north that weekend. Will probably risk the A27 west and then go via the M3 at Southampton, and then A34. My fear is that the more obvious alternative routes will quickly become gridlocked.

    [Cricket] Duncan Fearnley RIP

The Bob Willis super bat! Didn’t catch on, though Dennis Amiss always used DF bats too and probably got more use from them than RGD Willis!

    [Cricket] Duncan Fearnley RIP

I might be tempted get my 405 down from the attic and stick it on eBay based on this...

    [Cricket] Duncan Fearnley RIP

My last Duncan Fearnley bat was a Hick 405 and it definitely worked for me as I’m sure I scored a 4, 0 and 5 with it In consecutive innings!

    [Cricket] Duncan Fearnley RIP

RIP In the 80s and 90s loads of the great players seemed to use a Duncan Fearnley bat. I had one myself, but never quite reached to those heights, did score a few 50s in Sussex League cricket with it though! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/68512709

    [Albion] Romas in ground atmosphere

Yes but they still changed sides. Were originally on the German side but switched over when they were promised we would get them back Trieste and somewhere else from the Austro-Hungarian empire if they helped us defeat them.

    [Albion] Romas in ground atmosphere

At least their fans didn’t switch sides during the game, something which the Italians have been prone to more than once in fairly recent history ……

    [Albion] Romas in ground atmosphere

Is that banner the best they’ve got? Probably why they resort to throwing lighters and coins, and need 7 masked guys to jump 2 of our fans.

    [Albion] Romas in ground atmosphere

Funny that they have that atmosphere in a shared stadium that has an athletics track around it, which here would both be used as excuses for a poor atmosphere.

Would love to hear a good explanation of how that third goal got given. 2-0 is very different to 4-0. I don’t think we’ll overturn it but I can see us going 2 up at home and the atmosphere ramping up when we do!
