Had a Cow Poke salad on the Ferry this evening.
8/10 For colour, attractiveness, and price ( about £8).
I have decided it wasn't quite tasty enough to warrant a grading after eating almost 3/4 of it. Not a patch on a suggestion of fillet of salmon and veggies suggested a couple of days ago by...
Day 4 completed. I think I,m doing OK.
Just leaving home now for Dieppe and in the UK for the Man City game before returning here on Sunday night.
Normally I pack the car with snacks galore to ease the boredom. Not today though. No sireee
I have packed my weighing scales from here so there is...
Day 3 complete. No snacking yesterday evening was a bit easier to achieve.
Feeling positive this morning and off to the shops following some good suggestions. Salmon, fruit, fresh vegs and a few other healthy items.
Good luck to all and hang on in there, anyone who is struggling. You can do this !
Day 2 completed. Just a minor wobble with an extra glass of wine at full-time of the Liverpool result.
I find the first 5 days (120 hours ) the toughest so I'm almost halfway there now. 10am here, so 58 hours done.
Yesss....porridge...!
Just about to have mine. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day when I'm on a regime.
Happy to have got through yesterday without mishap and gradually remembering many of the little 'tricks' , I used many years ago to help get past the crisis points.
The difficult time of the day now for me. Had a bit of a craving.....just did a 1500 step walkabout between my kitchen , dining room and lounge (about 85 steps each lap...ha ha ) It's worked and feeling chilled now. Only took about 14 minutes.
Weighed in this morning at 89.9 kgs ( 14st 2lbs).
Target weight this month 86.6 kgs (13st 9lbs).
A bit disappointing as I have been averaging 90.4kgs last couple of weeks and breaking the 90 kgs was going to be my first target...Hmmmm.
Good luck to everyone participating and thankyou to...
I think we're all a bit disappointed at the moment.
My reply to your post wasn't a criticism. You already know that I read your posts with interest and as I have said before....every now and then you let fly...ha ha. I've got used to you now.
I just don't like to read about people sinking into...
I accept your view point. I still think Americans just visiting probably would prefer Barcelona to Burnley anyway. It was more about actually living somewhere as opposed to visiting.
Interestingly, Americans represent the largest group of people now moving to France to live.
I thankyou for your supporting message.
I appreciate that my accurate descriptions of this awful moderator probably don't help.
Unfortunately, he is a piece of shit and totally unsuitable to be a Moderator on this forum.
It's just a fact.
Incidentally, I live in France at present, because...
Likewise as I have just posted to another......
No, he is a sick individual with extraordinary ability to act like a bullying c u n t.
It's not good for the balance of this forum.
I appreciate your words.
Sooner or later Mr McKay will need to grow a pair and deal with this individual.
I have had a number of people contact me recently via e-mail, phone etc etc and feel the same way about this moderator.
He is nothing short of a menacing stalker. He needs to be removed...
My stalker returns.
Oh , so sorry you utter piece of shit.
I assume that debars me from any opinion of the country i lived in for 60 years. The country I still pay a significant amount of tax to each year.
The country I still visit on a regular basis to see my children and friends.
The...
I really don't think that is true at all.
Like countries all over the world, Covid had an enormous effect on finances.
Many, many countries in Europe have suffered hugely because of Putins war in Ukraine.
You can't judge other countries by the holiday resorts that most people go to when going...
It is inevitable that given the huge number of seats the Labour Party have that incidents/stories like this will be a fairly regular occurrence over the next 4 years or so..
To even be just a politician, requires a big mouth, a big ego and the ability not to listen to others opinions anymore...
I do object to his "directness"...( I prefer to call it outright bullying due to his status as a Moderator on here.)
He is ignorant, rude, objectionable, totally biased against posters who don't follow his Labour Party worshipping and a bully who mis-uses his priviledged position as a...
