I recall those on the Potter thread stating that anything less than Europe in his (hypothetical) first season back at Brighton would be a failure. It will be interesting if they carry the same expectations with Hürzeler or were, more likely, saying that as they had grudges against Potter.
I could accept 13th but would certainly not be satisfied with that final position, nor would I consider it a success.
We seem to undermining the great talent at our disposal currently. We should be aiming high as we have the potential to do so. Plus, we don’t have Europe this time around.

Italy did enough to secure a 2-1 victory against Albania. It wasn’t completely reassuring, but they did enough to secure the three points. Now two difficult fixtures against Spain and Croatia.
Italy deservedly in front at halftime. They have dominated the game after scoring those two goals to give them the lead. Albania will need produce something special in the second half if they want something from this match.
Freiburg, Wolfsburg, Mönchengladbach, Union Berlin…
They all finished in the bottom half of the Bundlesliga but are arguably of similar level to Brighton.
I will always appreciate Adam Lallana for what he has done at the club. His statistics might not be appealing (such as 3 goals in 95 appearances) but that shouldn't be the only factor he is scaled by. He has an incredible ability to effortlessly link play with his passing and clearly showed...
