Is it the same as Tonali? I can’t find anything online that suggests Tonali was deliberately manipulating events in games for a betting syndicate. Tonali has been caught betting on Newcastle games but as his bets were for Newcastle to win it’s not as serious.

A betting addiction with straightforward betting going on and deliberately getting booked to help others fraudulently win bets are two very different things. Also those found guilty of the regular betting charge have been given pretty hefty punishments. For example an 8 month ban to Toney...

The charge is that he deliberately got booked as part of a betting scam. If true then while he might not have placed the bets he’s in some serious trouble.

Surely all managers are stepping stone managers. It just depends how patient they are for the next move or if they’re good enough to get the next move.
