My comment (above) was in response to someone who suggested that the Withdean car park should be made free parking to avoid congestion in the streets., and the potential introduction of permits.
Surely correct signage offers some protection...
It also stops people parking there indefinitely, eg if car sharing for the drive to Gatwick for a two week holiday, or God forbid, if our traveller friends decided to stay there. The car park would gradually fill up and I presume the Council could take no action even if the vehicles weren’t...
I think the coaches used to park at the Greyhound Stadium. For some matches the coaches would pick up and drop off outside the Goldstone in OSR.
Not sure how the Goldstone would’ve coped with 32,000 given the current parking restrictions within the whole of B&H, and the frequent train...
I’m kinda hoping the weather forecast is right and we’ll get sufficient points to finish top although it’d be nice to be watching as we get over the line by taking a wicket or scoring a run.
The logic is that a bottle without a bottle top will lose some of its contents en route, making it less heavy when it hits its “target”. It’s not just the players that are being protected, it’s those sitting on Row S (as per your example).
