The above kind of emphasises the fact that we need an appointment soonish... I've said previously we cannot hope to recruit first team ready players without a head coach in position. Why would any player sign for a club when you've no idea if it's Steve Cooper or Cafu who's effectively going to...
I like Rob Edwards, he seems like a top bloke and a very decent coach... Two things strike me though:
1 - He has a very obvious and strong emotional connection with Luton, which seems reciprocated in spite of the inevitable relegation... I can't see him touting for a job tbh - I think he's...
Actually... I'm going to put a brave face on it, ahem, and say that of the two (and I'm not sure that either is actually going to transpire) that I'd go for hangin' with Mr Cooper.
I beginning to think the old 'we're not as big as we think we are' adage is coming home to roost... shell shocked is a bit rich however, a bit surprised maybe...
There's still (my) hope that we opt for Marco Rossi and bring his Hungarian revolution to the Amex... lol... I'd imagine his stock...
Yeah, he’s a top bloke - he’s literally one of our own and the embodiment of a man living the dream - in terms of owning the club he so clearly loves…
😃
Saw this earlier on, as ever I’m glad I chose to support our club back in the early 80s… something drew me in… yeah, we’re well suited. I’m proud of the club in so many ways, and especially that our chairman is an approachable top bloke.
Tony Bloom joins fundraisers at the end of epic cycle...
The not attending games things is a bit daft, especially when you consider you won’t be able to see the pitch anyway… what with all the smoke from the burning season tickets…
A potter pyre.
A healthy dose of booing and a sacrificial season ticket incineration would seem to be in order.
In truth I’m not sure what I’d do, but I wouldn’t be happy and I’d probably lose interest for a while, my mojo would be too low for zero.
If you actually think about it, GP represents the least...
Fair enough… I’m still unconvinced it’s actually happening to be honest, but IF it does, what he can do with the current squad will be very interesting 🧐
It could be a bit toxic too, let’s be realistic… not sure I want that feeling hanging over the club as we move into the new season and after...
Fourth after six games ? With wins against a wretched Man Utd and a porous Leicester… come on, it’s ridiculous to claim that form would have continued… Graham also knew this, hence he jumped when his stock was at its peak… I’ve said before, and I say again we got 6th thanks to a fully focussed...
I guess time will tell… im not buying the fed up bit… remember this time around it was entirely mutual - I think the club were happy to ‘release’ Roberto and enter another reboot phase.
If it’s GP I’ll be very surprised, but stranger things have happened I guess.
Being up in Northumberland I don’t have a season ticket, but by God I’m going to give my Albion+ gift pack a good hiding…
This years free gift is going to wish it’d never been born.
Bring Potter back and I unleash hell on my Albion pencil and matching notebook… well, I’m just going to scrawl...
