This tune was played in the church at my wedding (well, the bit that sounds choral).
If me and Mrs Mahone have something that is ‘our song’, it’s this.
Yes, I am aware that it’s an esoteric choice, and no, definitely not with spaghetti bolognaise…or indeed any other pasta based meal.
I also insist on having peas with lasagne. It is what it is.
Your fried egg ‘recipe’ sounds right up my street. I’ll be giving that a go this weekend.

It was noticeable how many more people were walking towards town than has previously been the case, and I would imagine that this is now a quicker (and more pleasant) option for a lot of people.
Wheeling...
I like a pint or two on the terraces when I go to The Dripping Pan for Lewes games.
I don’t bother when it’s busy though.
The Amex is always busy, and I think the annoyance and disruption caused by people going to the loo or chucking their pint over you if we score means that I hope this isn’t...
The brown sauce comes out intermittently at Mahone Towers.
Meals that demand it:
Cauliflower cheese
Lasagne
Fried eggs on toast.
Bacon sandwiches need English mustard, mayonnaise and a little bit of Reggae Reggae.
Also, some tremendous fannying about at the back. Almost kamikaze levels when we were two up. The players seemed to be seeing how far they could go, and the Ajax fans absolutely hated it.
Gross and Dunk passing the ball back and forth about 47 times when we’d had the ball for about eight minutes was fun. The Ajax players looked as if they were about to have a collective breakdown.
