Indeed.
Utterly turgid, brain dead response to one of the greatest ever innings from Viv Richards.
Boycott couldn’t give a shit, as long as he, personally, scored some runs. The wanker.
They were brilliant to watch, and their support in those days was superb - a constant samba band type noise created by beer cans.
I used to go to Lords at least once a year with my mum, a tradition that continued throughout her life. Luckily for me, this included the first three World Cup...
It may or may not have been better ten years ago.
In my opinion there is still nothing quite like it. It's my favourite week of the year and remains incredibly special to me.
You're a stronger man than me, Moto. I'm afraid that I would not be able to hold myself back, and there would have been huge family ructions by now. I would not be able to spend time in the same room as him.
I am aware that this is a failing in me.
It's been pretty busy at Chalk for the Mahones and friends recently.

The Clash were as far from a manufactured band as it is possible to be. They were authentic, and refused to toe the line - they did exactly what they wanted to do, much to the annoyance of those who would wish to make money from them.
Their first album was pretty much straightforward 'punk'...
Oh look, ‘Super Steve Earle’ shoe-horns his anti-teacher prejudice into a thread that has nothing to do with teaching.
You really are a bitter old man, aren’t you?
I was ticketless in Amsterdam. With Pogue Junior, we watched the match in Rick's Cafe, overlooking a canal, five minutes from Dam Square.
There were 'scenes' for both goals, obviously, but no beer luzzing.
It would be interesting to know how much was luzzed in Euro Bar, Bavaria or anywhere...
What? There's been a pitch inspection this morning?
After the postponement at Whitehawk earlier this week, and with heavy rain expected all morning, I am amazed that this is being given the go-ahead.
