Completely OT I know but NSCers are a great source of info on pretty much anything...
Off to Cape Town next week to do some work at the V&A Waterfront. Looks like I should be able to get a half decent hotel around £30-40 a night but wondering where is the best area to stay.
I don't want to be...
100% agree. The yawnfest this sorry saga has become may drag on if an appeal/tribunal occurs but in the world of football news it will fall down the interest stakes very quickly. All I hope is that things can be sorted at the club so we get the new manager as quickly as possible and the team...
The kids sometimes watch 3D on the telly but they are ALWAYS on iplayer, Lovefilm etc. Especially as we now have Infinity. All the other stuff on SmartTVs is pretty much useless.
The truth is of course that you can have the important features of a SmartTV (i.e. catchup, on demand services...
mmm - another thread on matters of pure speculation around events that cannot be reliably predicted where the outcome can only really be established once it has occurred. Quite a few of these at the moment...
Having said that playing the guessing game is often fun.
;)
If you mean "overachieved" in the sense of performing beyond his and the squad's abilities through luck then nothing is further from the truth. He was at Everton for 11 seasons (I think) and improved that team in every way. OK, he did not win any trophies nor did he make them top 4 but he has...
What Gus said on Monday night was not the best choice of words but you need to remember two things. One is that when you hear what he said and listen to the whole of what he said and not just the "choice" quotes then it's clear that he was extremely disappointed in every way. He has invested...
Sadly I have to agree about Bridcutt. I can't see how we are going to keep him as more than one PL team is bound to come knocking and any player is going to say yes. The key then will be how much we get for him. £5m about right? Could we see much more?
Who was quite rightly subjected to loads of abuse for being such a knob. A couple of other morons got carted off as well for having a go at the stewards. Bans for that pathetic behaviour is just plain stupid.
Maybe but look what David Moyes did with that club and the funds he had. He is exactly the sort of manager that PL and aspiring PL clubs need. Very astute signings, good man manager and able to work within his means. It's no wonder Rudolph picked him as his replacement.
I am far more worried about the potential dismantling of our team regardless of if Poyet stays or goes. He has been a great manager for us but is not irreplaceable as one man.
If we see Bridcutt, Upson, Bridge, Ulloa, Lopez and maybe even Barnes, Buckley and LuaLua move on in the summer then...
It happened at the first Seagulls v Palace Amex meeting - a fan got banned after confronting some rather vocal Palace fans in the 1901. Can't remember all the details but there were threads about it at the time.
You mean Brady?
Felt a bit bored with this year's bunch and it's got very predicable but no doubt will get drawn into the whole sorry mess over the next however many weeks it is. Glad Jaz got the boot - she was seriously annoying.
