Obviously good news, but the brink is still there IMO, worrying times still, not only in France. Not sure what the solution is, but this is likely just plastering over the cracks.
The main problem has been narrow roads and slowing peloton on gravel climbs, resulting in some riders having to run. No different to the Flandrien one day classics or stages in GTs going back decades.

You're right, but a large part of the reason why Labour are in the position they are now is because they moved towards the centre. Will what's left of the Tory party do similar, or move towards the right even more en masse, or split?
I can't see them moving towards the centre, interesting times...
It's interesting he talks about monetary policy post Bretton Woods.
I think he might well be on to something in that regard, implications of these policy changes take decades to come out in the wash and the cycle might be ending...
