    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

Don't fall for the lies, schemes and spin, surely you're better than this? Plus, if he was at the cinema with his family when Putin launches the nukes, better than hiding in a fridge, hosting an illegal party or secretly off with his Russian mates at a remote Italian castle.

Don't think the TdF has been this over by the end of stage 4 since I don't know when!

Also, Sunak was praising Starmer's work ethics only a couple of weeks ago.

I joined the Bear Party but defected when I discovered that bears defecate in the woods.

Did he last race last year when he crashed? Surprised he got selected based on how he's looking, even accounting for the publicity!

[Politics] The 2024 US Election - *MATCH DAY*

That kind of makes sense but, as already mentioned, who would want to take on Trump from that starting point? They would have to have someone already lined up, which seems unlikely?

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

I don't think it's just he was an actor, but that he was using a different voice to his normal one. Although that now seems to be possibly not actually the case... Regardless, as others have said, this isn't surprising, they have plenty of history in this regard.

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

It could be a stitch up, but if it is it's one of the easiest to pick apart, which seems unlikely. They need to interview this bloke, see how he normally sounds, apparently he was putting a voice on, and see what he has to say.

Are you suggesting some people didn't vote for Brexit as a protest vote, at least partly?

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

These folk are young though, teenagers and young adults. We hear stories about the prevalence of kids/boys watching Andrew Tate videos at school etc. The young lads in this video (think might not even be old enough to vote) are 'concerned' about immigration and foreigners. I'm not sure how much...

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

It is interesting that the kids are big Reform fans. There does seem to be a trend with young people, particularly young males, tending towards the right / hard/alt right…

Last time I got stung the pain was bad, but the itching a few days later was insufferable; something to look forward too.

[Football] Euros 2024 - Matchday 12 (Netherlands vs Austria, France vs Poland, England vs Slovenia & Denmark vs Serbia)

I agree to an extent, but I think he should still start, but staying up the pitch and out of the way of Foden and Bellingham. It was a duffed clearance from Kane in our half that led to Denmark’s goal last week, but he shouldn’t really be doing that.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

If he was bettign on himself to win, no big deal really. But by bettign on himself to lose opens himself up to claims he threw it and lost delibrately, cant be doing that.
