I’d be thrilled if we got a single pound for him. I remember writing a post just after he signed explaining that one day we’d look back at his signing on a free as one of the best pieces of business Tony ever pulled off. I stand corrected, and my disappointment knows no bounds.
"Footybite" and "to" are two funny words to write pretty much anywhere, e.g. in your search bar. Put a period sign between them and you never know what'll happen. You might get to brush up on your French.
Say it aint so! Love the guy, and I really hope he gets a contract extension and another chance to shine. He might have lost some pace after his first hamstring injury, but don't forget his brilliant MOTM performance when he got the chance in the Marseille away game, showing that he still has...
This game has definitely been a wake-up call for Wieffer. Not necessarily a negative - mistakes that don't get punished can be just that, a wake-up call. (I'm ever the optimist)
As disjointed a half as expected. Worse than hoped but better than feared, hopefully the initial nervousness for some will dissipate now.
3 ugly points at Goodison would be fantastic today , things will only get better.
That certainly goes on the long list of things I didn't know I'd be envious of.
The only autograph I have of any note is a signed table tennis racket from Jan-Ove Waldner.
If his name doesn't ring a bell for your brits, he's equally famous for becoming the first non-asian table tennis player...
2-2. We'll score two worldies, but defensively the players haven't had enough time to learn Fabians playbook, so they'll hit us for two on the counter. It's the only possible final score, when you think about it.
Will be many months before March is up to speed again, so I for one am fully expecting ACD and Minteh to alternate on the right wing until January at least, and then we’ll see if a loan materialises. I think he’ll surprise many this autumn.
A bummer that loans to USG are off the table at the moment. I reckon we could have filled half their squad this season, and I would have watched every game ;)
I was going for a bit tongue-in-cheek, but true. I still want to think of March as the number one right winger until told otherwise though, and then it will be hard to decide on an understudy. Unless Match gets used as a wing back, of course.
