We were in the Victoria, post match. A really good vibe in there. I've been in the Wellington before, good for the ale, but a bit of an old mans pub because of it. I'm guessing the anchor is much the same. Much prefer the Victoria and will return there next time.
A full awayday with travel, tickets, beers and food rarely leaves change from £100. But then we do make a full day of it. I really don't think I would bother if it was just go to the game and straight home again.
Some miserable scrotes on here. My little ones love it, so I don't see the harm myself. Round here we have a system - only knock on doors that have a pumpkin lantern outside.
"I Fought The Law", originally written and recorded by The Crickets, covered more successfully, twice over, first by the Bobby Fuller Four, and secondly by The Clash.
Bobby Fuller's version is TOP NOTCH.

Blokes that do the wanker sign to the away support, especially middle aged blokes, are frankly an embarrassment. What's the point? You just look like a tit.
Wise words.
I find a lot of the mind numbing everyday type posts are made by women, and generally enjoyed by women, so no harm done, just accept that is what some people like to talk about. It's like the 'do you like the phone' thread. Women love chatting away about any old gubbins, blokes don't.
Harsh that so many people are not having a bar of this. Seems genuine to me. The issue is whether there are other circumstances that caused the banning.
