Fair point but I think they will go back up.
Listening to talksport this week gave me a good chuckle that Howe was going to struggle at Newcastle and take the England job and Parker would end up at Newcastle. It will be no surprise to anyone Parker has been a guest on the show a few days before.
I know parachute payments make a huge difference. But Burnley after barely laying a glove on the league last season are back to being totally dominant In the championship.
And looking at the teams who have come up and current squads you’d be surprised if more than one of the three stayed up...
Well Turkey is usually the place where players go to die. Not good for a player his age to be heading to Turkey no matter how passionate the fans are the level of football isn’t great.
Although I enjoy your optimism Welbz isn’t just about goals. He brings everyone else into the game with him. His ability to drop in deep play a one two with the midfield to let in the wingers get in behind him will be key this season.
Always great to look at the original Danny Welbeck thread when he was linked with us. Some absolute whoppers on there saying he wasn’t good enough for us.
I do understand how you feel. But I don’t think this will be season on season. This is a rebuild and a need for us to make the most of our profits or they will be lost. Hopefully we see this team stay together for a couple of seasons now and slowly build on our success again.

No. There’s not really a starting 11 in the modern game especially now with 5 subs. Could we have put out a stronger team with everyone fit maybe. But having quality across the pitch in every position and back up in 70% of those positions we will beat a lot of teams this season without first...
In my time as an Albion fan I’ve gone from earning more money than players the same age as me in the first team in the 2000s to having 2 weeks salary wiping out out my annual salary. I feel like I should have stuck with football.
There is a compromise, you can apply to meet the players and get autographs before every home game I believe a smaller but safer number no doubt and for those lucky enough to attend a much safer experience.
If it was just a queue of kids waiting for players I'd understand peoples concerns a lot...
That's not true at all, players were getting abused and if you saw the crowds outside the east stand post match waiting for Mitoma it was actually becoming a little dangerous add to the fact there were full time merch sellers getting signatures over and over again the decision was made by the...
