No matter the level of football played .... am I the only one who occasionally thinks during a game "I'd have gone far post ......", "needed the outside of his boot there ...." etc.
Last one from me ........ no promises mind.
But Paul Hazlewood (Albion club photographer and well known good guy) kindly sent us a selection of his photos from the match. They are on the website here to provide a flavour of the night.
I spoke to one of the Albion coaches before the game and he said they take the competition very seriously. The club see it as an opportunity for the young lads to play at the Amex. They were there to win last night. And the No 10 Benicio Baker-Boaitey was on the first team bench on Sunday. He...
That was great wasn’t it. The power of the Premier League. And that’s why it was so great Lewis came along. There’ll be lots of talk in the playgrounds this morning about seeing Lewis.
What a night. We have over 500 registered players and there must have been over a hundred young players watching - seeing their club that they play for, wearing their shirt, beating the Albion. Grassroots football at its finest.
What a night for Steyning Town. First of all thanks to the Albion for switching to the away ground having been drawn at home. This makes a massive difference for clubs like us and Shoreham (from a previous round).

Anyway - see Gary Dicker's lads in action, it's going to be a lovely evening, and both teams will be playing the beautiful game.
International break ? Who cares. You can come along and watch the Albion U21s at Steyning Town tonight. BIG match for the club. Parking available at the school (BN44 3RQ - right next to the ground). Pay on the gate. See our young lads and support local football - what is not to like.
I heard her interviewed on a podcast a while back (pre-referendum I think) and my conclusion was that she was a bit thick. She could not put forward any logical argument to support any of her views. It's an indictment of this government and a clear sign of the lack of available talent she is...
Crowborough came out on top on Saturday in first v second in the SCFL Premier League. A deserved win from a team that looks that. A proper team. Steyning had their moments but the better team won. First defeat for the Barrowmen in the League. Need to bounce back!
I can’t remember exactly. Possibly first season back at Withdean. On other photos are Alan Cork, Dean Wilkins (plus Andy Rollings and Jonny Byrne). Is that the side of Bozzas head behind you?
