Cheers. Yep - having Uckfield at home as the last game should be a banker. As I have said before - it's been a great season for us both and Newhaven. The Playoffs will be nerve-racking .........
My pal and I have thought that should the Albion leave us (we thought it would be something like Adebayor rocking up on £250K per week) we'd go to Lewes. Easy transport, great pubs, great atmosphere. I like the ethos of the place.
What can happen is a player turns out for a Sunday casual team with his mates, gets booked, and the fine is not paid. The player may be used to the club sorting it out. Next thing “sine die” and banned from all football.
Absolutely amazing by the Barrowmen. The quality of football this season has been remarkable. Three goals a game. And the squad are a really decent set of blokes. And all credit to the management team. The manager Kev Green has an interesting background and has built a great team around him...
Well it’s the Barrowmen’s to lose in the SCFL. A comfortable 0-4 win at Newhaven means a win at home to bottom of the table Uckfield in two weeks will take top spot. The tone was set when The Dockers had top scorer on the bench to avoid a booking that would trigger a two game suspension. We all...
Do not let them near a lawn. They’ll rip it up. Do not let them near a patio. They’ll shit all over it. Don’t let them near any windows when you are inside. It’ll be like the set of The Birds. Nightmare. Buy your eggs.
Massive game in the SCFL tomorrow at Newhaven, where Steyning are in town. Crowborough will still have a say but it’s an exciting end to a great season for all three clubs, all still in with a shout. I know Albion eyes will be at Turf Moor, but if you like the beautiful, local game keep an eye...
A lot of thought is given to it. It’s a funny one. With a massive youth section you’d think more families might come along. We’re in the wrong location it seems. We’ve had some big cup games this season (I.e. Maidstone and the Albion U23’s) and we can get people to those.
