What's the logic behind playing three centre backs against a team who often don't even have a recognised striker? Are we assuming the game is only going to be about set-pieces? Surely Burn, Webster and Dunk are enough to deal with the Palace "threat"?
Sounds like you need to train your dog with some lead led runs BenElton'sBrother! I've thought about getting a dog recently, but I wonder if I'm glamorising the experience a bit. I have this lovely image of the joys of dog ownership, but then you have the downside of clearing up the muck, etc...
I would definitely appeal and provide their details so they can independently check that that registration number had paid at that time. The obvious downside is that there's no proof that the registration number entered wasn't also parked there - but they might show some mercy.
Nothing lost...
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to play a left back at right back in place of Montoya who has been solid and consistent for us all season. If we sign someone better than him to replace him, ok - but playing Bernardo out of position to accomodate keeping Burn in the side is ridiculous...
Well, his home has a "Sold" sign outside and when I cycled past the other day, you could see the whole place was packed up and ready to move. The man seems to be a big fan of hanging artistic paintings on the walls, he's got loads of huge framed pictures in there. The house itself is worthy of a...
Which makes him the luckiest man in the Premier League (except perhaps Bong, a man truly blessed by an angel to making his living from training with us day to day). He's in the team because we started the season with one left back, who has been injured. He's done better than anyone would expect...
I should have said, "52, so far". I've missed 12. But I don't intend to miss any of the remaining 3! I didn't get a New Years Day 2019 parkrun, so I was 2 down immediately. :down: That won't (hopefully) happen again this year!
You've definitely put a fair amount of thought into it, Artie Fufkin!
I found myself ANOTHER 2nd place finish this morning, at Peacehaven. I've been trying to get there for a couple of months and finally managed it today. Dame Kelly Holmes was in attendance (I didn't know that before going)...
3 x 5k PBs for me this year (18:15, 17:56, 17:55), with hopefully a 4th to come on Christmas Day. A Marathon PB as well (3:10:49), and then the 10k PB (37:33) which was required to hold off the Big Fella. I've managed to clock up 1,614 miles for the year so far and should get to 1,700...
I think we all owe a debt of gratitude not just to Dave, but also to Tony Bloor and his family who have been involved with the club for so long. :jester:
Her name is Carina. She's been brilliant from the start and it's no surprise she's in the final - she could become just the second person I've picked from the start to go on and win, after the brilliant Yasmina Siadatan. :love:
No problem;

I popped out at lunch time and, without trying to diminish it, I ran 14.5 miles including Falmer Road from Rottingdean to Falmer and then Bear Road from bottom to top. I have a bit of dilemma now, though, because I can either tell people at work the distance I ran OR tell them I get one hour for...
