    [Food] Restaurant 2019 Thread

It was all dark on Saturday evening when I was going past so took a closer look and there are posters in the window declaring it he been possessed by bailiffs. Five years ago I thought it was great, since then it seemed to become very ordinary so hardly been for last couple of years. Like you I...

I see Curry Mahal on Portland Road has closed. The Ashoka has also closed half its premises. Two institutions with problems.

Absolutely ridiculous 19.5 miles this morning- up the Adur and then west into the wind up to Chanctonbury before mercifully having the wind behind us as we turned south towards Cissbury and back along the Downland Devil courseto the river. Possibly the hardest run I’ve ever done - the infamous...

Just to add to what’s been a rather good day so far, I bagged an SB 21:42/ AG 69.05% and second in age category on a very windy Hove Prom this morning. Also managed to finish in front of Emily Proto - OK she was pacing 22 mins and i’d shamelessly used her as a wind shield for half the run while...

I use a camelback rather than a belt. Amazed how comfortable and light it is and I really don’t notice it while running. Best thing is it’s so easy to take sips from as you go. Cotswold Camping on Western Rd have a good selection. Evans Cycles was also good but they seem to generally be carrying...

Well done - look on it as two positives, firstly you ran 19 miles and nearly three hours on your feet (if alone then this is even more of an achievement), secondly a bad run is a hugely valuable learning experience- and so much better in training when it does not matter than on marathon day...

Ham, Emmenthal and a bit of Dijon mustard. If I have to have a sweet one, then chocolate and nuts. Always hated lemon and sugar.

Train to Angmerring this morning and then a steady trot home for 16.8 miles in 2hr 30m all made easier with the following wind. Perfectly satisfactory with nine weeks still to 3 Forts.
