I went to Preston Park for a friend’s 250th. Got caught out by the crowded start and lacked a bit of motivation so laboured in at 22:27. Keep stepping myself it’s the off season and taking it easy is a good thing. Must get that Downland Devil entry sorted.
Good to see you and congratulations on the SB. My time is about six seconds out - the timer said to me 22:55 when I crossed the line - VAR required. Beautiful morning, glad I’m not doing much this afternoon!
Yes - great effort on Wednesday night - about 40 of us sweeping the prom to make it runnable. We then held our regular Wednesday night session there so I can confirm it’s fine for running.
It’s a Rogue’s takeover on Saturday - there will be pacers every minute from 19-30 mins -

Anyone tried the re-opened Curry Mahal on Portland Road? I understand its alcohol free (not even BYO) which means I would have thought unless the food is exceptional it may struggle.
Ganges for me last night - pretty good - can be variable so a bit of a relief.
We did a food tour with Devour Tours https://devourtours.com/tours/ Not cheap but a great way to find out about the city and it’s food and drink culture and visit some hidden gems which you can then return to at your leisure.
I have a spare ticket for Deerhunter on Monday at the Concorde if anyone is interested- £20 face value - happy to waive the booking fees. PM me if you want it. Cheers.

250th parkrun for me - if anyone is left for Hove Park then see you there.
Nipped over to Littlehampton this morning for parkrun followed by breakfast at The Boathouse home of Yes Chef.
Really good breakfast- proper English with good quality ingredients, very friendly service, easy to park and a good view.
Nice to say hello to the man himself - he works hard! And of...
Littlehampton for me this morning - 16th Sussex parkrun course of the 20 - aspiring towards GNT levels of tartage.
21:47 and 19th place but post- marathon legs bit in after 3k. Lovely morning for a prom run. Having a day off tomorrow.
Just in from ‘rehydrating’ thoroughly (beer/vodka mainly) after Warsaw marathon this morning. Really well organised event. Very pleased to finish in 3:53:25 and especially with splits of 1:56/1:57 despite finding the last five km a real grind.
Great efforts at Barns Green - missing this one -...
