Market Hall Victoria: Pretty busy even on a Monday evening but easy to get served at the bar and get a table for six of us. Lets start with the positive - the food we had from the Roti King was very nice. A kind of Thali on a banana leaf - reminded me of the kind of thing you’d get in the Indian...

Another 21 miles for me today, up the Adur, then left up to Chanctonbury, down to skirt by Cissbury and back to the river via Coombe Farm and Botolphs. I did this run a month ago in 50mph winds, today was considerably nicer conditions and took about an hour less! Certainly blew away the cobwebs...

That would be a pretty good spot - good atmosphere at bottom of Grand Ave and along Church Road- fairly crowded but not insurmountable. You might struggle to get across Grand Ave itself - I don’t remember any crossing points - you may have to go round the long way to do this eg via the sea...

Really enjoyed the AW20 today. As usual Sussex Trail Events put on a good race with only around 200 entrants with a really good atmosphere. After struggling at Hastings last week, I decided to run a very disciplined race and stick with my planned pace, make sure I drank regularly by carrying my...

[Albion] Some Lighter Moments From The Amex Yesterday

Also 1) AJ (I think) accidentally tripping up one of the mascots before kick off and looking horrified 2) the saints player (Bertrand?) pretending to move the ball at a corner after the red had checked it was in the D

Took it easy again and paced 28 with Aw20 tomorrow in mind. After hitting 28 dead last week, let myself down with 28:04 this week, must try harder. Fantastic run by ben Elton’s brother. Also great to see Hugh Foord run on his 90th Birthday - now that is an inspiration.

Hove Park 600th parkrun tomorrow - where better to complete a milestone, do your first or just come for a bit of fun? I’ll be pacing something like 28s. See you there?

Well as I came last, I'd better post first. 1:44 bit disappointed- not so much with the time, more how hard I found it even to get that. Hastings much harder than I remember. Great event though- I'd put it up there with Barns Green as the two best halfs (and possibly road races) in Sussex ...

Nice feature on Hastings on South Today this evening. Several people have run all 35 editions of the race. They are expecting 80,000 spectators to cheer us along the route.

Ok I can come if there is space for me in a team. I won’t be there until around 8:15 though so please save the obscure indie music round for then! Does the Caxton do food? I’ll be needing my tea.

[Albion] Our Chris Loses The Plot- 2018/19 Edition

What about the exaggerated grimace when Millwall’s second went in? In my mind every bit as reprehensible as (and possibly contributory to) Ferguson’s red card incident? Does anyone have a video (nasty) of that?
