Blimey - just went for a late afternoon run up Benfield Valley - ended up having to turn back due to a vicious hail storm! Just as well I had a hat, glasses, snood and running tights on or may not have survived (awaits a ‘that’s a summers day in Toronto’ comment from Badger:whistle:)

Anyone want to see a space station?

This... nearly as bright as Venus which is the brightest thing in the west. Edit -sorry couldn’t add video! Moves slowly across the sky - there’s no planes up there so pretty much the only thing that’s moving to the naked eye.

[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

Robert Forster (Ex Go-Betweens) posted an interesting thought that with all these musicians, artists, writers etc not being able to tour or do much else, we could see an explosion in creativity and some great work surfacing at the end of the year and into 2021.

If this doesn’t make you smile then nothing will.. Also almost anything from the Ready, Steady, Go Show last night on BBC4 - made the 1989 TOTP look even more awful than it was. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=17W7496230Y

    [Travel] Train Season Ticket

This is correct - I cashed mine in on Saturday at Portslade - worth making sure the ticket office person knows what they are doing - the guy at PLD explained it very clearly and even checked a couple of different combinations of monthly/weekly tickets to ensure I got the best return. He also...

For some reason carried on with the training plan this morning with 20 miles up and back on the Adur/Downslink. Some of those I ran with were still preparing for SDW 50 but by the time we got back this had been postponed too. Thinking I’ll drop back to around 13 miles next week to have more...

18 miles this morning - featuring Woodland Drive, Peacock Lane and Bear Road followed by a long haul back along the seafront into the wind dodging (unsuccessfully at one point) the waves crashing onto the undercliff. Beautiful blue skies and felt good at the end - possibly due to deliberately...
