As has been mentioned many times on this thread, a no-fly zone will not stop most of the bombardment of Ukrainian cities with heavy artillery and missiles fired from Russia
Not sure if its been mentioned regarding the Polish Migs, but apparently not quite so straightforward. Guy from RUSI on the radio today saying the cockpits in them would have been reconfigured so they can operate connected to other NATO aircraft, so they will be different to what the Ukrainian...
Why, would that have made the Soviet Union give up theirs, and indeed stop N Korea, Israel, Pakistan and India acquire them ?

Indeed, a no fly zone is not a panacea. Would involve shooting down any Ukrainian planes as well, so would hinder their ability to use airstrikes. I read that our defence secretary said the subject was never raised by his Ukrainian counterpart. My impression is that the bombardment of Ukrainian...
You're not alone. 3 home wins all season, 2 of those several months back, the other plenty wouldn't have been at as it was 8pm Boxing day. I enjoyed the deserved late draws v Palace and Chelsea but last 2 home performances have been dreadful. Not sure how anyone can genuinely dress up our home...
Bits about Russian Armour advancing beyond its logistic support which the Ukrainians are then targeting as their elements are much more vulnerable. Reports of units running out of fuel/supplies, trying to buy/steal food and fuel from garages and shops. Medics in Russia being called in to help...

Pretty much the first time I've left early, went on 75 mins, awful match, shite weather, to avoiding queuing in said shite weather and with no prospect of a comeback on that display we headed for the pub. No apologies from me
