The guy who couldn't be arsed to try and sort out a rail strike thinks he's the answer to this country's problems? Jesus wept !!

Yeah good point, I was hoping he'd get the gig, but on reflection it's going to be a hard grind for the next few years whoevers in charge. He's one of the very few who has enhanced his reputation as a serving member of this Govt.

From the other side, as I deliver for DHL. When your parcel is out for delivery you should get a text or email giving you 4 options if you aren't going to be at home.
- Change delivery date
- leave parcel in safe location
- collect from local parcel shop
- collect from DHL depot
Still, at least...
A treaty that Russia also signed guaranteeing Ukraines borders !! No country can have any confidence in any treaty/deal signed by Russia, which makes a peaceful end to this conflict nigh on impossible

Granted but few people really knew, and fewer cared what was going on in Chechnya. The whole world(assuming they have access to unbiased sources of info) can see what they are doing in Ukraine and as a result, in the free world at least, Russia will be a pariah for decades to come, they are shut...
What a coincidence, just been called by my surgery, whilst on holiday, offering me one. I'm 50 in a few months, had my last at 40. Put on a few more pounds since then and drink too much, probably get similar advice to you

Indeed but IMHO the parallels are not so clear cut. I doubt anyone had even heard of Chechnya or Grozny before that conflict. I consider myself pretty well informed of world affairs but I hadn't. There was also a good chunk of Western goodwill towards Russia with the fairly recent fall of...
Indeed, fills a massive gap for them, and tears a massive hole in our team. Starting bid would be insulting if under £50m. Deal would be done a bit north of that, assuming he wants to uproot his family again

Got our honeymoon there next week. Weather looks perfect, 27 all week. Only downside is we're flying Easyjet !! Or hoping to anyway

Not sure it would. I think you'll find most people don't want to replay that devisive battle. However I wouldn't be surprised if a party offering a much more pragmatic partnership with the EU, perhaps looking at joining the EFTA, or even rejoining the Customs Union might be successful. Not sure...
Slightly unfair IMHO. Plenty about the war anywhere you look in the media. Judging by this thread it is more like NSC is suffering war fatigue. I suppose after this length of time it is not perhaps the front page news, but many of us are still very interested/concerned with what is going on, and...
Think it was the totally wrong path to go down. Should have been talking about how he hasn't the support of 40% of his MPs rather than banging on about how the Tory MPs are propping him up.

I was told, put a penny in a bottle every time you have set in your first year together, take one out every time you have set after that, you'll never empty it. Can't argue with that !!
