Amazing time and AG. Shame you missed Chester you'd have done well.
I had to cancel the Prom today as woke with a slight lower back spasm after putting in 70 seed potatoes at the allotment. Got the Sussex Road Relays next Saturday. I'll be off the pace but should manage 7" miles. For the 2 mile...
Marathon contractors doing great work. Pebbles left by council for 6 months almost gone in an hour. Marquees still standing. I've crossed the completed finish line. The high tide did not spill onto the Prom.
It will all be ready to go. Exciting and I'm not even doing it.
Dad's family moved down to London in 1930's. Grandad switched allegiance to Palace but my Dad stayed Sunderland. I was born in Exeter but came here at 6 years old.
Mum from North London and her Dad was a Tottenham man.
I only liked cricket till Sunderland went to Wembley in 1973 to beat dirty...
Had my 60+ MOT last month and my High Cholesterol crept over into the danger range range. Statins were reccomended as I had an 11% chance at 7 (?) of a heart attack in the next 10 years. Statins would reduce this to 5% chance and increase my chance of being diabetic by 4%. As a fit pescatarian I...

Tendon calmed down Saturday after 4 weeks playing up. As in Wimbledon I wombled up to the Common for Parkrun. I had no kit so wore waterproofs and street shoes. Course was narrow wet, slippy and boggy and single file in...
The Brunswick Square Ultras would be able to pop into Farrow & Ball, pick up a tin of Radicchio Red and an Indigo Blue, load them onto a flare, and fire it onto the wall.
It would look like a load of Pollocks.
Rubbish.
You can't use a Brexit vote from 2016 as representative of the UK's population on migration today. It was a only a 42% turnout by voters.
You'd have to assume some of these Leavers wanted out for economic reasons and desire for a blue passport rather than racism.
A handful of remainers...
Having looked at the 7 MPs set to seal his future he looks f##ked. My old MP Harriet, who I met in that near glorious year 1983, 2 Tories who don't care for the buffoon, an SNP MP (no more need be said) and a Tory and Labour MP I don't know anything about.
So not full of Labour. 2 week...
After 2 Days of complete and utter failures managed to be amongst the front runners today. £104 thrown in, £120 returned and a few nearlys. Envoi Allen and Salvador Ziggy.
8 layers on top, thermals, hat and flask of hot tea. Toasty. 😆 I had ingeniously kept the gate open with a metal stake so I didn't have to hold it. Luckily I just managed to stop 300 sheep making a run through at 1 o'clock and had to close it.
The winner was 10" ahead of second by me and won in...
Great determined effort by @Greg Bobkin yesterday. I was up high on Beddingham Hill at 14 miles and a sunny morning turned wet windy just as the majority started along the Firle Bo Peep section. Great event and I've deferred for 2024. Highly recommend.
Incredible mix. I loved many. Second was the Bill Beaumont long jump for the perspectives in one photo. First was something I never believed could happen.
