Gross? Are you f***ing insane? He's been consistently in our top 3 players since we've been in the Premier League. He's now playing for Germany and he has no pace to lose, so is age isn't an issue yet. He will still be a top class player at 35, and that's 3 years away yet!
Because if you have someone in a senior leadership role who isn't bought in to the philosophy and is bringing others down with them, then you get rid of them. Regardless of how brilliant they might be.
I'm not saying he is doing that, but that would be the reason to sack him.
Thought he looked out of his depth, personally. 100% sure he is going to come good though, flashes of brilliance and he’s only young. I’d be tempted to give him a loan abroad next year.
I agree. They stand to gain nothing from it at all. I expect they'd try and take Taiwan back, but if NATO genuinely was involved in full-scale conflict with Russia, then I can't see how we'd have the will, or the capacity to take on another nuclear-armed superpower. China is still very insular...
We have been hearing this stuff for quite a long time now. Without any detailed knowledge on the subject, I'm just not sure I believe it. They are spending something ridiculous like 40% of their State budget on their war effort, aren't they? I can't see how they can run out of weapons with that...
Can't believe anyone can say that was nothing to do with Chris Hughton. Do you think under RDZ that the players would have just gone on the piss in town for 2 weeks after promotion was secured? Absolutely no way.
Hughton has to take overall responsibility. A stronger manager would have won one...
Hmm. I wonder, that might work. The club certainly didn't suggest anything like that when I spoke to them about it though. It was very much computer says no.
I have a ST in the North Stand that I am going to use for the 1st time this season on Thursday. I've sold it on the ticket exchange every time it was possible, but it isn't always possible, so it has gone empty a few times. I bought 3 x 1901 ST through my company a couple of years ago, but the...
Part of me finds it mildly disappointing that we don’t celebrate our national day. The other part of me thinks this kind of thing is for noddy little countries like Ireland and Australia, not for a 1,000+ year old country like England.
Fact is, if enough people cared then it would be a...
I do think that is changing in the men’s game though. It’s historically been the case here, but nowhere near as much in places like Brazil / Spain / Portugal etc. it would be a shame for the women’s game to to make all the same mistakes the men’s game has.
It isn't.
There are kits that need to be ironed too.

On a serious note though. I was thinking this morning...
