We have a top 8 front line, a mid table defence and we’ve sold all our midfielders so who knows. Probably upper part of the bottom half but could be higher or lower than that! I don’t think we’ll be top 8 unless we make a couple of big signings (who aren’t wingers)

It seems like we’re remodelling the squad in line with how we think Fab is going to play. A deep DM/3rd CB (Weiffer/Baleba), and then 2 athletic box to box midfielders, with 2 wide attackers (got loads of those…) and a striker. Not easy to see how Buonanotte (or indeed Gilmour) fit into that...

I just don’t think he has the athleticism we need in that position to recover the ball when sides against us win it and attack us. Something Caicedo and Bissouma were brilliant at. And he’s not progressive enough to be the ‘Mac Allister’ role. If the plan is Weiffer / Baleba / Yalcouye in the DM...
